The next phase is to implement on a large scale in specific costal communities local transformation models.

Neopictonic's work continues to focus on establishing an education and research platform, where individuals or groups interested in our discourse can acquire skills in the topics researched and thus work collectively to carry out projects that facilitate the initiation of a regional transformation and its communities through design and technology.

The future of Neopcitonic, once the foundation phases of education, teaching, and materializing their explorations have been carried out, will begin with the next phase that consists in implementing, on a large scale, transformation models in specific communities.

Baru Project

The proposal is to implement a plan for the production of seaweed and sea oysters, to explore alternative fields in the biomaterials, food and construction industry, where communities can have sustainable development through the use of resources present in their coastal environments, and to create a positive impact on the economy and environmental renewal of the region.

The project is guided by ideas that address issues of environment, ecology, biology, landscaping, historical heritage, urban planning and communities that inhabit coastal areas. These issues involve the recovery, renovation and construction of habitats in urban sectors, which have the capacity to environmentally restore the area and serve as sustainability models in the city.

Likewise, the Barú project is considered a research laboratory, where an environment is sought to discuss ideas, creative processes and alternative design strategies that serve to lead a change in thought and the way of making interventions in areas with environmental and social problems.
